Done Right the First Time
A lock job that has to be redone is not a good deal at any price. We fit hardware with the same care whether it is a single deadbolt or every door on a rental property. Vincent, our manager, looks at a lock the way an engineer would: how the mechanism is built, what it is made of, and how the door actually gets used. A front door that gets slammed ten times a day needs a different setup than a side gate opened once a week.
We use solid hardware from established manufacturers and stay away from thin bargain locks that wear out within a year. When we install or rekey a lock, we try every key in every cylinder, make sure the bolt fully extends into the strike, and check that the door latches without being pushed or lifted.
Las Vegas is hard on locks. Fine desert dust works its way into keyways, and summer heat makes doors and frames shift. Part of a proper lock repair is cleaning the cylinder, lubricating it with the right product and adjusting the strike so the lock does not start binding again in July.
